Blue Raider Football Back in Action after 15 Day Break

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  Currently tied for first in the Sun Belt standings,  Blue Raiders football returns to action Saturday after a 15 day layoff.

After two consecutive losses from then Sun Belt leader Louisiana Monroe, Middle Tennessee now stands tied for first in the SBC.

The Blue Raiders now control their own destiny inside the conference, starting with South Alabama Saturday.

With an already impressive road record of 4-1 on the season, a win at South Alabama would give the Blue Raiders its most road wins since 1992.

Already bowl eligible, Middle Tennessee has up to as many as 10 different bowl games possibilities.

The matchup Saturday with South Alabama will be the teams' first-ever meeting. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and as always you can here the game right here on WMOT.
