MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Police have arrested a Murfreesboro man in connection with a 20 year old Memphis murder.
On Wednesday officers arrested 36 year-old Phanivong Phanhsay at his Merlin Drive home on a First Degree Murder warrant. Phanhsay was arrested at the request of Memphis Police.
WREG-TV says a second man, Memphis resident Sathit Ep, has also been arrested in the case. An informant reportedly provided police with the evidence they need to connect the two men to 20 year-old murder.
On Valentines Day, 1994, 23 year-old Angela Perkins was gunned down as she left work in East Memphis.
Phanhsay and Ep were teens at the time the murder occurred.
