Unclaimed $61 Million Lottery Ticket in Tenn.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  The Tennessee Lottery says a $61 million dollar Mega Millions ticket was drawn last Friday, but the prize hasn’t yet been claimed.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket was purchased in Bellevue. If claimed, this would be the first Mega Millons winner in Tennessee since the game was first offered in the state beginning in 2010.

The cash value of the winning $61 million dollar ticket will be just over $32 million dollars.

Lottery officials say the last time a Tennessean won a multi-state game was in 2005 when a South Pittsburgh area family drew a $25 million dollar Poweball jackpot.
