MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  The Middle Tennessee State men's and women's teams are both in first place within the Sun Belt Conference.

With an 11-game winning streak and the Blue Raiders’ 52-point victory Saturday over Troy, Middle Tennessee is now 22-4 on the year, marking the second most wins in the entire nation behind Gonzaga.

The national recognition continues as the men also received 11 votes in the latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.

As for the women, the Lady Raiders fell to Troy Sunday 74-70 in overtime.

Even with the loss, the women remain atop the Sun Belt standings with a two game cushion over Western Kentucky.
