Second Annual Taste of Haiti

Tennessee Haitian Voice welcomes the 2nd Annual Taste of Haiti.  On April 28th at 6:30 PM at Holy Name Parish Center Nashvillians can share in a special evening of Haiti’s rich and vibrant culture, traditional cuisine, dance, art, entertainment, and history.

The event is a commemoration of the 2010 earthquake tragedy.  Cindy Guerrier, chair of this year’s event says, “We are inviting everyone to take part in this celebration to honor the many brave men and women who are continuing to fight for a better life in Haiti, to remember those who lost their lives during the tragic earthquake, those who are still destitute awaiting help, and to unite with those around the world who vow not to rest until we see a better Haiti.”

Tennessee Haitian Voice is a local non-profit 501(c)3 community based organization that seeks to assist Haitian communities in strengthening access to educational, health, and economic opportunities.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 6:30 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church - Parish Center, 521 Woodland Street.  Tickets are $15 per person before the day of the event and $20 at the door.  Children 12 and under are free.  Tickets can be purchased by calling 471.4202 or 500.8980.  A portion of ticket sales will support THV’s educational and service projects in Haiti.
