The Jeremy Durham affair continues to haunt the State Capitol
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WMOT) -- There’s more fallout at the State Capitol from the Rep. Jeremy Durham ouster.
The Tennessean reports some lawmakers believe a legislative staff member had her job terminated because of her connection to the Durham scandal.
The staff member is one of more than 20 women who told the Tennessee Attorney General Durham had sexually harassed her. The woman believes she was released because the female legislator she worked for had a relationship with Durham.
Democrats in the Statehouse are calling for an investigation.
WMOT does not name the victims of sexual assault.
