Blue Raiders win at USA

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  Middle Tennessee's stellar defensive play led the way in Saturday's victory over South Alabama.

With the help of four defensive turnovers and career-high 154 yards from Jordan Parker, the Blue Raiders defeated South Alabama by a score of 20-12.

Middle Tennessee now stands at 7-3 (5-1 SBC) after recorder it's fifth road win, the most since 1992.

Of the 445 yards of offense, Jordan Parker led the ground game with 154 yards on 24 carries, marking the freshman's season high.

Transfer Jujuan Harley forced three South Alabama turnovers, along with five tackles on the day.

The Blue Raiders will now return home for Saturday’s game versus the Troy Trojans.
