MANCHESTER, Tenn. (OSBORNE)  --  Bonnaroo tickets are now on sale. The four day Manchester music festival is set for the weekend of June 13.

Festival organizers announced the festival’s lineup Tuesday. This year’s headliners include Phish, Childish Gambino, Solange, Post Malone, Odesza, and The Lumineers.

Nashville Scene Music Editor Stephen Trageser says he sees Bonnaroo 2019 offering a nice balance between musical tastes. He also appreciates the inclusion of well-known performers along with up-and-coming acts.

“I’d say it’s shaping up to be the best all-around bill that they’ve had in several years, at least since Live Nation – the ticketing an live concert promotions giant – acquired a majority stake in the festival.”

The Grand Ole Opry’s partnership with Bonnaroo is getting an upgrade this year. The Opry gets top billing on the festival lineup poster. Trageser says the Opry is also moving to a main stage. He wonders how the Opry’s

closely timed radio format will fit with Bonnaroos laid back vibe.

“But, you know, the format has been around to close to a century, and, you know, it also ensures that you can’t get too bored, because in just a few minutes somebody else will be playing.”

Bonnaroo is known for its friendly atmosphere. Noting that Bonnaroo is a four day camping festival, Trageser says it pays to be neighborly.

“Spend more time getting to know your neighbors, making sure you all get along, making sure that they’re OK. I think that’s really cool.”
