As COVID-19 surge grows, Tennessee officials launch a campaign promoting face masks

tn.gov

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  If you haven’t seen the State of Tennessee’s new ad campaign promoting the use of facemasks, you will soon.

Health officials are blanketing media with the ads statewide, including on broadcast, cable, print, billboard and social media platforms.

The ads feature the catch phrase “Face it. Masks fight COVID-19.”

Nearly a dozen Tennesseans are seen in the video version of the ad saying they’re wearing masks to fight coronavirus.

One of the featured residents is a UT football player who says he’s “fighting for football on Saturday.” Another is a restaurant owner who says she’s “fighting for her small business.”

You can participate in the “Face It” media blitz by downloading campaign banners, videos and images for your social media from this page.
