The Nashville based Tennessee Nurses Associaiton says the poll was conducted by email in late March. A total of 471 responses was received. The Association acknowlede that the poll was not conducted scientifically.

Forty-seven percent of surveyed nurses say they feel unprepared for the pandemic. Among mid-state nurses, 61 percent don't feel equal to the challenge. Forty-five percent statewide say their facilities aren’t properly equipped.

On the plus side, six out of ten nurses statewide say they feel supported by leadership as the pandemic gathers steam.
