Nashville expands COVID-19 vaccination eligibility to everyone 16+

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Every Nashville resident 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

Metro residents can make an appointment to be immunized at COVID19.nashville.gov, or by calling the city’s pandemic hotline at 615-862-7777.

State health officials report that roughly 28 percent of Nashvillians have received at least one injection. Just under 12 percent are now fully immunized.

Nashville has reported well over 94,000 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. A total of 871 Metro residents have died due to virus complications. There are currently just over 1,800 active cases citywide.
