whitehouse.gov

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) — President Donald J. Trump has earned Tennessee’s 11 electoral votes by a lopsided, but slightly smaller margin than he did four years ago.

With all 95 Tennessee counties reporting final totals, Trump received 1.8 million votes statewide. That’s slightly more than 60 percent of all ballots cast. Joe Biden pulled down 1.1 million votes, or just over 37 percent of ballots.

Biden did pick up roughly three percent more votes than Hillary Clinton received in 2016.

In Metro Nashville, some 197,000 votes were cast for Biden. That’s roughly 64 percent of ballots cast. Trump pulled down 97,000 votes or 33 percent of votes cast.
