Survey asks what Nashvillians want in their next Chief of Police

nashville.gov

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Nashville Mayor John Cooper is asking for the public’s input as he launches the search for Metro’s next Chief of Police.

The city has created an online survey asking Nashvillians what they’re looking for in a new chief.

Questions include, what qualities do you want to see in a new chief, what should the new chief’s top priorities be, and what are the top public safety needs in your neighborhood?

You can take the survey by visiting hub.nashville.com. Anyone lacking internet access can call 311 to participate in the survey.

Mayor Cooper hopes to have the new Chief on the job by October.
