In both Pakistan and India brutal killings of young girls have horrified the globe.

In Pakistan, a woman was killed for marrying a man of her choice. And in India, two teenage girls were brutally killed, after allegedly being gang-raped.  In both cases, the killings have generated outrage in certain sectors of society.
