FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) — A reward is being offered in an effort to find the person responsible for Franklin’s only unsolved murder.
The Tennessean reports the $20,000 reward is being offered by the city, in collaboration with the FBI and Gov. Bill Haslam's office. Officials are looking for information on the person who pulled the trigger in the fatal shooting of Peggy Cox.
Police say Cox was working at Hardee's in February, 1991 when someone shot her through the drive-thru window.
