Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra to "Let Freedom Ring" This Friday

This Friday, November 8th, will see the return of the Murfreesboro Symphony as they celebrate Veteran’s Day with a program called “Celebrate Freedom”, a patriotic concert.   The concert will take place in First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro at 265 W. Thompson Lane at 7:30 p.m.  The music includes Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Suite from the ballet Rodeo.  The Murfreesboro Symphony will also perform selections with the group Act of Congress.  Other selections on the program are works by Glen Miller, Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber and an armed forces salute.
