NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- The Nashville Metro Action Commission has good news for county residents who’ve fallen behind on their utility payments.
The city has received permission to offer aid normally reserved for low-income residents to slightly higher income households.
The Low income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides one-time assistance to cover the cost of utility payments.
The allowable income level has temporarily been raised to 72 thousand dollars a year, depending on family size. Look for the details here.
