NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- Ryman Hospitality CEO Colin Reed is predicting Music City’s vital tourism sector will be slow to recover from the pandemic.
In a conversation with theNashville Business Journal this week, Reed said people have had, “the living daylights scared out of them” by the health crisis.

He said tourism officials will have to convince visitors Nashville is once again a safe place to visit.
Reed said he won’t open Ole Red and Wildhorse Saloon for another ten days to two weeks. Opryland Resort and Convention Center will re-open mid-June. The Ryman and the Opry House likely won’t welcome in-person audiences back before late July.
