MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- You’ve probably heard that old expression “Good fences make good neighbors.” If so, then Murfreesboro may need a few more fences.
According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, there were a number of confrontations between neighbors over the weekend.
On Saturday, a Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputy and his neighbor accused each other of intimidation. The deputy says the neighbor threatened his family. The neighbor says the deputy came to his door with a dog in tow to frighten him.
On Friday, a Northfield Blvd. man confronted his neighbor with a tazer and a pistol, alleging the neighbor’s children were harassing him and vandalizing his property. There was also reportedly some hair-pulling involved.
Yesterday, police were called to a Salem Cove Ln. residence after two neighbors assaulted each. One man was pepper sprayed while the other was hit in the head with a shovel.
The police report says the argument ensued when one man’s dog left feces on the neighbor’s lawn.
