MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation released the following statement Wednesday afternoon:
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained indictments for a Rutherford County man charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
TBI Agents, with the assistance of officers with the Murfreesboro Police Department and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, began an investigation in 2013 to identify subjects in Tennessee using peer-to-peer networks to traffic in child pornography.
On August 6th, Andrew Brian Hotte was indicted by a Rutherford County Grand Jury on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
Today, the 27-year-old Murfreesboro man was arrested by deputies with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. Hotte being held on a $100,000 bond at the Rutherford County jail.
