FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- Nashville’s housing market continues to tighten.
Figures released Wednesday by the Greater Nashville Realtors Association show the number of mid-state properties for sale fell sharply between August and September, down 7 percent in just 30 days.
The number of homes for sale year-over-year dropped even more, falling 31 percent since last September.
Home values continue to rise. Buying a median priced, single-family home here in Middle Tennessee costs an average of $348,000. That’s up $2,000 in the past month, up $30,000 in the past year.
