In-demand N-95 respirators to be manufactured in Middle Tennessee
LEBANON, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- A company that makes N-95 respirators announced this week that it will open a manufacturing plant in Lebanon.
N-95 respirators have been in short supply since early in the pandemic. The respirators provide better protection to the wearer than cloth face masks.
State officials said Tuesday that the new $25 million Moldex Metric Inc. plant will her 200 workers over the next three years.
The California based company also plans to build a product distribution center in Wilson County.
