Tenn. COVID-19 deaths spike again, while new cases and hospitalizations fall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) — COVID-19 related deaths marked a new, all-time high this past week, even as the number of new infections and hospitalizations continued to fall.

 

A total of 755 Tennesseans died during the week that ended Saturday, Jan. 30.

 

The number of deaths remained unchanged from the previous week in Cheatham and Davidson counties.

Virus related deaths set new records last week in Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties.
