MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — Middle Tennessee State University is hosting the Women in Higher Education in Tennessee conference this Friday.
According to The Daily News Journal (http://on.dnj.com/1gijZ7D ), the 33rd annual gathering of female college and university professionals will take place in the campus' Student Union Building.
Dr. Shirley Raines, president emeritus of the University of Memphis, will deliver the keynote address during a luncheon from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Officials say this year's conference will focus on employment.
