Murf. woman has her pizza delivery money stolen at knifepoint

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro woman delivering pizzas had a knife held at her throat during an overnight robbery.

East Castle Street Resident Ginger R. Moore teld police she delivered a pizza at College Grove Apartments on Lascassas Pike just after midnight Friday morning.

The 36-year-old woman said as she was leaving a man attacked her in the building’s breezeway. She reports being pushed up against a wall and a knife placed at her throat.

Police said Moore had a small cut on her neck following the attack. She reports losing about $60 in the robbery.

Police tried to track her assailant with a K-9 unit, but the effort failed.

Moore described her attacker as a black male, standing 6 feet, 3 inches tall with dreads and wearing a white hoodie with blue jeans.
