MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Murfreesboro woman tells police that she was gang raped Tuesday evening just north of the Middle Tennessee State University campus.
The 25-year-old woman says she was walking along Lascassas Pike near the Dana Downs apartments when she was assaulted by 6 men.
The woman says the men pushed her into bushes where some of the men held her down while two raped her.
The woman tells police that five of the men were black and one was white. She says all of the men were wearing red and black shoes. She also says the white male had blue eyes.
The police incident report says that EMS responded and was able to collect DNA evidence. The case has been turned over the MPD detectives.
