MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro man says he was carjacked, robbed and pistol whipped Monday night on Mooreland Lane.

Twenty-four-year-old Neil B. Robinson says a man jumped in front of his car and aimed a black handgun at him a little after 7 p.m. The man got in the car and demanded money.

The police incident report says the assailant, described as a black male wearing a black hoodie, took Robinson’s money and then made him drive to an ATM and withdraw still more cash.

After getting roughly $260 total, the robber had Robison return him to Mooreland Lane. He reportedly threatened and then pistol whipped Robinson before fleeing on foot.

Robison told police that his attacker was approximately 6 feet tall, with a slender built, dark skin, and 40 to 45 years of age.

If you have any information about this robbery call Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP (7867).
