Parents, get these dates on your calendar. Tennessee offering two, tax-free shopping weekends

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  The State of Tennessee will this year offer two back-to-school tax free shopping weekends.

The first three day tax free shopping weekend is set to begin Friday, July 31. The second is planned for the weekend of August 7.

There are a number of restrictions. Clothing items, art supplies and school supplies all have to be priced $200 or less per item. Computers and other electronics can’t be more than $3,000.
