MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- The Nashville Ballet opens its 2015-16 season Friday with a unique take on the Peter Pan story.
The family friendly production includes original choreography by Artistic Director Paul Vasterling, including on-stage flight.
Vasterling says the production also includes specially chosen classical music that draws heavily from late 19th century French composers and will be performed live by the Nashville Symphony.
“What I liked about the music which is in large part based on the Debussy Children’s Corner Suite is this real innocence and child-like quality. So it’s also really playful in places.”
