NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Just in time for Halloween the Nashville Ballet is staging Something Wicked.

The production is a unique take on Shakespeare’s MacBeth by Artistic Director Paul Vasterling.

The ballet’s Molly Sansone will dance Lady MacBeth and says it’s a challenge to express her emotional turmoil.

“I really like to perform emotionally and reach all my audience members in that sense, because I think everybody can relate on an emotional level,” she said.

Sansone says audiences can expect a special high-contrast stage setting, colorful costumes, and in the Halloween tradition what she calls"blood effects."

Alias Chamber Ensemble will provide live accompaniment.

You can enjoy Something Wicked over three days beginning Thursday at TPAC.
