50-Plus Attending MTSU Alumni Summer College June 20-22

Fifty-one alumni and friends of the University, some from as far away as New York, Maryland and Illinois, return for the three-day Alumni Summer College at MTSU.

Today’s key activities

1 p.m. — Registration, Tom H. Jackson Building;

2 p.m. — iPad, smartphone and other “now” technology, led by Barbara Draude, MTSU assistant vice president in information technology, Room 106 in the College of Education Building; and

4:30 p.m. — Wine-tasting, led by Dr. Tony Johnston, professor, School of Agribusiness and Agriscience, in Room 100 in the James Union Building. 

Thursday’s key activities

9:30 a.m. — Mass Communication Media Center tour, led by Billy Pittard, chair, electronic media communication. Tour begins in Room 103 of the John Bragg Mass Communication Building and includes the Center for Innovation in Media and mobile production lab; and

2:40 p.m. — History of ROTC and virtual rifle range tour, Forrest Hall Annex.
