NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  A Nashville FBI office employee has been arrested this week on child porn charges.

Newly appointed Middle Tennessee U.S. Attorney Mary Stewart says 38-year-old electronics technician Justin D. Carroll was arrested as he arrived at the FBI office Tuesday morning.

Carroll has been charged with the sexual exploitation of children and receipt of child pornography.

Stewart says investigators found evidence that Carroll has been victimizing a 14-year-old Rhode Island girl online for weeks.

The relationship came to the FBI’s attention when the girl sent Carroll a package containing a Teddy Bear to the agency’s Nashville office.
