MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- On the heels of Monday’s devastating winter storm, the National Weather Service Office in Nashville said Tuesday morning that another strong winter weather system will push into Middle Tennessee Wednesday afternoon.
Federal forecasters can’t say yet just how much additional snow or ice the mid-state might see. However, they are predicting another wintry mix of ice, snow and freezing rain.
The good news is, more typical Tennessee weather is in the extended forecast. Temperatures will be back in the upper 40s to low 50s by Sunday.
