Teen indicted in Blackman High School teammate's death

RCSO

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Eight months after a Murfreesboro boy died in a crash on I-24, the teen driving the car has been indicted on a charge of Vehicular Homicide.

The Daily News Journal reports that a Rutherford County Grand Jury has indicted 18-year-old Michal Brobeck in connection with the death of 16-year-old Daniel Winters.

Winters was a passenger in a car driven by Brobeck when the Tennessee Highway Patrol says the vehicle hit a wall and flipped near Waldron Road in LaVergne.

Both young men were students at Blackman High and members of the school’s wrestling team.

Michael Brobeck is expected to appear in a Rutherford County Court November 19 to enter a plea to the charge.
