MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect they believe may be responsible for a rash of burglaries to vehicles and vending machines this past weekend.
The MPD reports there were about a dozen auto burglaries Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The department is circulating photos of a masked man they say may be responsible for some of those thefts.
Murfreesboro has suffered a rash of auto burglaries in recent months. In late July, there were more than 30 such thefts in a single weekend. Crimemapping.com says there have been 326 vehicle burglaries in the city in the past six months.
