MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Murfreesboro shopkeeper was robbed by a man wielding a sawed off shotgun late Monday night.
Police were called to the University Market located at the southwest corner of Middle Tennessee State at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
The clerk says two men entered the store. One was carrying a shotgun while the other had a revolver. The men grabbed $400 out of cash register before fleeing.
Both men are described as black males. The first stood roughly 5 feet 7 inches tall and wore white Nike shoes with black socks, black shorts, a white t-shirt and a dark colored jacket.
The second man is described as standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing a black North Face jacket, white t-shirt, and a American flag bandana over his face.
The case has been turned over to MPD detectives for investigation.
