MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police are asking for your help in identifying a burglary suspect.
In a statement released Wednesday morning, the MPD says almost $4300 worth of items were stolen from vehicles parked at the Thompson Lane Greenway Trailhead parking lot back on Christmas Eve.
Police received an anonymous tip that there was a man in the parking lot that day acting suspiciously.
Police say they now have photos of a suspect attempting to use gift cards taken during that burglary at a nearby Dollar General Store. You’ll find a photo of the suspect on the news page at WMOT.org.
Murfreesboro Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information about the suspect. You can call 615-893-STOP (7867).
