NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Nashville Police Officer battling acute leukemia is getting a little love from his fellow officers and from people across the country.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for Officer Brandon Bilbrey who works out of the Madison Precinct. As of this morning the account stands at $12,470 headed toward $50,000.
Bilbrey is a 28-year-old officer with a wife and three children.
The Tennessean reports he’s started what’s being described as an “aggressive treatment plan” at Skyline Medical Center.
