Judge will rule on RuCo Sheriff Arnold ouster Tuesday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Jailed Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold will learn next week whether or not he gets to keep his job.

The Daily News Journal reports Davidson County Chancellor William Young heard arguments yesterday in a lawsuit brought by 12 county residents seeking to oust the Sheriff from office.

Arnold is facing federal charges of financial misdeeds while in office. He was jailed in September when a federal magistrate decided Arnold was a flight risk and a danger to his wife.

Judge Young says he’ll rule on the matter this coming Tuesday morning.
