MURFREESBORO, Tenn (TONY SLOAN) -- Murfreesboro detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a Middle Tennessee State University student.
The woman tells police she was leaving a party on Greenland Drive early Saturday morning when a male wearing a grey hoodie and khaki pants approached her vehicle.
The woman says the man put a knife to her throat and proceeded to sexually fondle her. She was able to pepper spray the suspect and he immediately fled the scene.
She was later transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the attack.
Murfreesboro Police searched the area but were not able to locate the suspect.
