Pandemic sparks online innovation in Williamson County

City of Brentwood

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- The City of Brentwood this week launched what it’s calling the “Open for Takeout” online map.

The interactive map shows the locations of restaurants offering takeout or curbside service.

City officials say the map has proven so popular they’ve opened up to all of Williamson County.

City officials say they're offering the map to "encourage the community to continue supporting local businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic."

Restaurant owners can add their offerings free of charge by first filling out an online survey.
