RuCo Sheriff releases shooting incident video, asks public's help IDing occupants

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Mike Osborne) -- The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help chasing down a lead in last week’s shooting of a motorist.

 

The 42-year-old woman was seriously wounded while driving on Veterans Parkway. She remains hospitalized one week after the April 23 incident.

 

The Sheriff’s Office has released https://youtu.be/JTVp6-4q8dk">video of a pickup truck. Detectives say the occupants may have information about the shooting.

 

The woman’s family and Crime Stoppers are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the shooter.

 

Call Crime Stoppers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 615-893-STOP. Information can also be shared directly with RCSO Detective Jamin Humphress at 615-904-3054. Anonymous tips can be sumbitted online by visiting the RCSO website and clicking on  “submit a tip.”
