NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Nashville’s Coronavirus Task Force has asked Metro schools to postpone the start of sports until after Labor Day.

Practice sessions will be allowed to continue.

The letter goes on to say sports will be resumed only if “key metrics for the roadmap to reopen Nashville are improved and stable.”

Representatives from charter and private schools on the city’s Coronavirus Task Force also signed the letter.
