Metro asking for public's help investigating Fern Ave. party for health restriction violations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Metro Police are asking anyone with information about this past weekend’s controversial house party on Fern Ave. in East Nashville to give them a call.

Social media video of the Saturday night party shows a large, tightly-packed crowd without masks.

The viral video raised questions about why city officials aren’t doing more to enforce pandemic restrictions.

Nashville Law Director Bob Cooper announced Tuesday that a criminal investigation into the party is now underway. He noted violations of city pandemic restrictions could result in fines and even jail time.

WSMV quotes the Metro Codes Department saying the home is registered to a company named “The Fashion House.” The party was reportedly a grand opening for the home as a location to conduct photo shoots.

Anyone with information about the gathering should call Nashville CrimeStoppers at 615-862-7400.
