tn.gov

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  Just over 2700 Tennesseans have been immunized against COVID-19 since the first doses of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in the state last Thursday.

A new, online, vaccine tracking dashboard created by state health officials shows 2,711 immunizations have been administered statewide.

The first 56,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine are being used to immunize medical staff, first responders and nursing home residents.

The first shipments of the new Moderna vaccine are expected in Tennessee Monday. Those doses will go directly to county health clinics to immunize first responders and home health care providers.
