Still more setbacks for Nashville live music venue Exit/In

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mike Osborne)  --  There's trouble on the horizon for iconic Nashville music venue Exit/In.

COVID-19 has kept the venerable live music spot closed for the past year. Now the In’s building on Elliston Place has been sold.

WPLN says it’s been purchased by a company that develops new hotels.

Exit/In owner Chris Cobb has turned to GoFundMe in an effort to raise $200 grand to buy the property back. As of Monday morning, some 1500 donors have promised nearly $80,000 toward that goal.

If Cobb's efforts to purchase the building are unsuccessful, he's promised to forward all donated funds to the National Independent Venue Association and the Music Venue Alliance of Nashville.
