It's Time To Update Your WMOT App and Stream

WMOT has launched our new audio streaming service to provide our listeners a consistent and high quality experience.

For those of you who listen on WMOT.org, the TuneIn app, a smart speaker or the NPR app you won't need to do anything, just enjoy the music.

If you have been using our Roots Radio mobile apps on your Android or iPhone you will need to download the NPR app and set WMOT as your primary station.

You can find the NPR app on Google Playor iOS App Store.

Once you download the NPR app:

  • Open the app and click on LIVE RADIO
  • Search for WMOT. The app will ask you to set WMOT as your primary radio station, please do!
  • After that, enjoy listening to WMOT anytime, anyplace. The next time you open the NPR app the WMOT streaming player will be ready for listening.
