MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Murfreesboro Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect after a mid-state woman says she was sexually harassed at the Stones River Mall.

The 21 year-old Franklin resident says that on Sunday afternoon a Hispanic man made “sexual comments” to her as she was driving in the mall parking lot. She says the man followed her in his vehicle and at one point even tried unsuccessfully to box in her car.

The man eventually left and the woman approached an off duty Murfreesboro cop working at the mall to report the incident.

Murfreesboro Police were able to pull security video of the vehicle they believe was involved. It appears to be a silver Ford Escape between model years 2005 and 2008.

Detectives with the MPD say they’d like to talk to the man involved to learn exactly what happened. If you have any information about the incident, call Crime Stoppers at 893-STOP. That’s 893-7867.

You’ll find a photo of the suspect vehicle on the news page at WMOT.org
