MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police are reporting a couple cases of armed robbery this week.
City Cab dispatcher John Green says two men came into his office on West College Street just after midnight Thursday morning and relieved him of nearly $2000 in cash and a cell phone.
Green says one of the men threatened him with a board with nails in it. He described his attacker as a white male wearing jeans, a button up shirt and a pair of boxer shorts on his head.
Green says a second man, described as dark-complected Latino male, also participated in the hold up.
Wednesday evening three men report being robbed in their North Tennessee Blvd. apartment by a pair of armed intruders.
The men say two black males entered the apartment, threatened them with a 9mm pistol, and stole $360 in cash.
At least two of the robbery victims are students at Middle Tennessee State University. They reported one of their attackers was wearing an MTSU logoed t-shirt.
