MTSU student says man rendering aid asked for sex

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A student at Middle Tennessee State University says a man who stopped to help jump start her stalled car turned out to be not such a Good Samaritan after all.

The 25-year-old female student says she was left stranded on Middle Tennessee Blvd near the Sonic Restaurant in Murfreesboro early Wednesday morning. A passerby stopped to help start her car.

The student went on to tell police that the man then asked if the student would perform a sex acts on video. He reportedly went into some detail about what acts he wanted her to perform.

The student tells police at that point she got in her car and left.

Using the student’s description, police say they located the suspect nearby. The incident report says the man was read his rights and he asked for a lawyer. The officer reports he then conducted a field interview.

The suspect’s name was not included in the incident report and an arrest report has not yet been made available.
